Walmart ReliOn

34.2 million Americans—just over 1 in 10—have diabetes. Yet over 10% of Americans are uninsured.

That means that the supplies necessary for managing diabetes – often quite costly – are paid for out of pocket. These costs strain already tight budgets, leading to the rationing of test strips and other equipment. Walmart’s private label diabetes brand, sold exclusively at Walmart and for even less than insurance costs, could help millions of Americans live healthier lives for less. We wanted to connect with shoppers and show how, with the right resources, diabetes does not have to define them — and that this level of support and value is only available at Walmart.
