Walmart ReliOn

34.2 million Americans—just over 1 in 10—have diabetes. Yet over 10% of Americans are uninsured.

That means that the supplies that are necessary in managing diabetes, which are often quite costly, are paid for out of pocket. These costs are often a detriment to already strapped budgets, which leads to the rationing of test strips and other equipment. Walmart’s private label diabetes brand, sold exclusively at Walmart and for even less than insurance costs could help millions of Americans live healthier lives, for less. We wanted to connect with shoppers and show how, with the right resources, diabetes does not have to define them, and only at Walmart.
